When Jyo Carruthers became a mom, her son’s infant eczema turned everyday care into a careful ritual. Off-the-shelf products were either packed with unnecessary additives or didn’t feel gentle enough for his delicate skin. So Jyo did what she knows best: she went back to the lab and back to her roots.

Meet the Founder: Jyo Carruthers
Born in India, Jyo was surrounded by natural healing methods from a young age. She earned a bachelors degree in biotechnology and a master’s degree in organic chemistry, then honed her craft in the lab.

With her experience, Jyo combined time-honored botanical wisdom with rigorous formulation science to craft the cleanest, most effective care she could make for her own child. Those first small batches - simple, soothing, and transparently made - became the foundation of Nature Lane.

Jyo believes good skincare for little ones starts with restraint: choose the right ingredients, use only what’s needed, and honor the science behind how skin heals itself. Nature Lane is her way of sharing that philosophy… born from a mother’s heart and a chemist’s hands.
