Description
Those early feeding days are a lot. Nature Lane Organic Nipple Balm is here to make them a little softer… literally. This ultra-gentle balm is made with 100% organic ingredients and cushions skin that’s working overtime, with a smooth glide and a light, breathable feel. A trio of slow-infused botanicals, barrier-supporting sunflower oils, and just-right waxes team up to comfort, protect, and keep things feeling more like “I’ve got this” and less like “ouch.” Crafted by a mom & organic chemist, it’s lanolin-free, fragrance-free, and designed to stay put without feeling sticky or tacky.
💚 Why Parents Love It
- Lanolin-free comfort – soothing moisture and cushion without the heaviness, odor, or stickiness of traditional lanolin balms.
- No need to wipe off before nursing – made with baby-friendly ingredients, so you can focus on feeding, not fussing.
- Botanical-powered support – calendula and marshmallow root help calm, condition, and support stressed, overworked skin.
- Melts in, not all over – a balm texture that softens with body heat, spreads easily, and stays where you put it.
- Short, purposeful ingredient list – every ingredient earns its place; no fillers, no “why is that in here?” moments.
-
Multi-tasking – also lovely on dry cuticles, lips, and little dry patches that pop up during the postpartum season.
🌱 What’s Inside
- Organic Sunflower Oil – a rich, cushiony sunflower oil that helps lock in moisture and support the skin barrier without feeling greasy.
- Organic Beeswax (Refined) – adds a breathable, protective layer that helps the balm stay put and guard against friction.
- Organic Shea Butter (Deodorized) – provides rich, balmy moisture and a buttery glide, without an overpowering scent.
- Organic Jojoba Oil – a liquid wax that mimics skin’s own natural oils, helping everything feel balanced, smooth, and not too heavy.
- Calendula & Marshmallow Root – two time-loved herbs slow-infused in organic sunflower oil to help calm, soften, and support delicate, overused skin.

Suggested Use
How to use:
- After nursing or pumping, gently pat the area dry if needed.
- Using clean, dry hands, warm a pea-sized amount of balm between fingertips.
- Apply a thin, even layer over the nipple and areola, focusing on any areas that feel sore or chafed.
- Use as often as needed throughout the day and night, especially after feeds.
- There is no need to wipe off before nursing; if you prefer, you can gently blot any excess with a soft cloth before baby latches.
- Double Duty: Can also be used as a pump flange lubricant.
During pregnancy & postpartum:
- Can be used in late pregnancy to moisturize and condition skin on and around the nipple and areola.
- Also suitable for other dry spots like lips, cuticles, and small areas of dry, rough skin.
Patch first:
- Before first use, apply a small amount to a quarter-sized area of skin (such as the inner forearm or a small area on the breast, away from the nipple).
- Wait 24 hours and check for any redness, itching, or irritation.
- If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult your healthcare provider or lactation consultant.
Allergen note:
- Contains sunflower oils, beeswax, shea butter, jojoba oil, calendula, marshmallow root, centella, and sunflower-derived vitamin E.
- Shea butter is derived from the shea nut; while reactions are uncommon, those with known tree nut allergies should consult a healthcare provider before use.
- Calendula is part of the Asteraceae/Compositae family; avoid use if you have known allergies to this plant family (e.g., ragweed, marigolds, daisies).
- For external use only. Avoid direct contact with baby’s eyes and moth. Keep out of reach of children when not in use.
